The Sweet Onion Inn is located on scenic Route 100 in the Green Mountain National Forest of Vermont. Established in 1994 it has been featured in Vegetarian Times, VegNews and many other premier publications. Vegetarian breakfasts and dinners are served to guests at 8 am and 6:30 pm. Six guest rooms provide a perfect flow of new guests, who enjoy sharing meals at the big tables on the enclosed porch or the dinning room with wrap around windows.

Innkeepers live in ample quarters located on the other side of the kitchen where they have complete privacy yet are still available to the guests if needed. The 2 acre landscaped property has numerous flower and vegetable gardens. The back portion of the land has horseshoe flower gardens and white trellises with a mountain setting designed for weddings and other special events. A smaller building that sits next to the Inn has a two bedroom apartment upstairs and office space downstairs. This building is used for lodging and rental and is included in the sale. Square footage of the Inn is a total of 1838 sq ft. The apartment/office building is 1600 sq. ft. Floor plans and many additional photos are available upon request.

This is a turnkey business and current Innkeepers will be available for a reasonable time to complete training and answer questions as needed. Online reservation services are in place and the sale includes the web site, all Inn furnishings (with few exceptions) to include table linens, dishes, silverware and glassware. Kitchen tools, pots and baking pans are excluded.
