The Interior
There is also a very large Studio ( 15 x 32) adjoining the owner's quarters and this room has the potential to be used for a studio (photography, yoga, fiber, or art studio) or Game Room. With thermostats in every room including the guest rooms, heating expenses can be minimized as temperatures can be reduced when rooms are not in use. All guest rooms have their own private bath with thermostat and towel warmers. The living room has a Panton Stone (local stone) fireplace 12 feet long with a 5 foot opening. The large eat in country kitchen is an extremely spacious one that offers commercial grade appliances.
Throughout the house is wide pine flooring. The first floor guest room is handicapped accessible with roll in shower (accessibility for wheel chairs). Most furnishings will go with the Bed and Breakfast. Our home is a 1860 farm house which has been completely renovated in 2002. Russell Young Farm Bed and Breakfast, located in the Green Mountains, is surrounded by some of Vermont's highest and most beautiful peaksand situated in the quiet and scenic village of Jerusalem, in the heart of the Green Mountains. We're also located minutes from Mad River Glen, and Sugarbush Ski Areas. For the outdoor's person in the warmer weather we're also minutes from hiking trails leading to Camel's Hump, and Mount Ellen and Abe. . Even with our Vermont country setting, we're only 30 minutes from Middlebury, 45 minutes from Burlington and 30 minutes from Burlington International Airport.Attached to the house is a two plus stall garage with electric door openers. Our central location in Vermont puts in the middle of some of Vermont's most famous attractions such as Shelburne Museum, Ben and Jerry's , Lake Champlain Maritime Museum, and and Shelburne Farms.
The Exterior

Also there's a small barn which can be used for storage. In a screen house, there is a hot tub which is useable all year. In the front of the house there is a beautiful flower garden which extends the length of the house to the road. There is ample parking for the guests. Although we are on a Country Lane, it is a town road so snow removal is exceptional, so winter access is not a problem.
