The Inselhaus B&B is an exquisite example of Queen Anne architecture built in 1901. Inselhaus opened in May of 2003 after extensive renovation. It offers two dining rooms, a parlor, office and a commercial kitchen on the first floor. Six bedrooms with private bathrooms and a laundry room are on the second floor. The innkeepers’ quarters are on the third floor with two bedrooms, bathroom, living room and kitchen.

 


The landscaping offers a relaxing environment. A convenient parking lot is located behind the B&B with ample and safe parking. The Inselhaus is located in the heart of Macomb, IL, just two blocks off the courthouse square. Macomb is the home of Western Illinois University.
