The Inn at Mountain View, built in 1886 has been a B&B since 1920. It is a Country Southern Victorian Inn listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is located in the "best" possible location in town, commercial property, facing the Pick in Park on the town square. Mountain View is an Ozark Mountain town and is the Folk Music capital of the world, with attractions in the area from the Blanchard Springs Caverns, to canoeing, to lake activities, fishing and kayaking on the white river, and theaters performing live music shows.

Musicians play sting instruments on our town square just about every night and even sometimes in our parlor, playing folk, bluegrass, and Irish music. The Inn's front porch is one of the best places to enjoy, or play string instruments in all of the Ozark Mountains.
